Almost anything is possible at Le Jardin. The room has so many facets that prefixing it simply with the word ‘tea’ does not do it justice. The high teas for groups, in the back garden reminiscent of France, are a mainstay, as is the shop, which offers a collection of small furniture items, tablecloths, luxury bedding, bathroom towels and other accessories. Comprehensive advice on interiors can also be provided. New to the store are workshops on flower arranging, ceramics and making bobbin lace, which can be delightfully combined with afternoon tea.
