Events in Schiedam

Schiedam has much to offer in the way of art and culture. The historical city centre is the arena for a number of public events. In the evening you can enjoy a performance at the Theater aan de Schie, watch an art house film at the Filmhuis Schiedam, or go to a play or concert by one of Schiedam’s choirs, orchestras or theatre associations.

Take a stroll through Schiedam and you will come across magnificent monuments and there are many exhibitions of historical and contemporary art in the city’s museums and galleries.
